The Baltic Ministers of Social Security invite to render humanitarian aid to the Ukrainian people

The Lithuanian, Latvian and Estonian Ministers of Social Security reconfirm every possible aid to Ukraine in the field of social security and urge all the ministers of the European Union responsible for social affairs to join empowering of civil Ukrainian society and to ensure smooth supply of social support to the Ukrainian people.

“The Baltic States are recruiting all the human and financial resources. We are ready to welcome the Ukrainians running from the war and to provide them with all the possible help – food, accommodation and psychological help,” – says Minister of Social Security and Labour, Mrs. Monika Navickienė.

The Ministers of the Baltic States are calling all the countries to support and donate to the Red Cross, the Order of Malta, Caritas, “Save the Children”, Food Bank, and other international non-governmental organisations that help to safeguard bigger humanitarian aid to the Ukrainian people.
