Presidency priorities

In the period from 1 July till 31 December 2013, Lithuania held Presidency of the Council of the European Union for the first time in its history.

During the Lithuanian Presidency, about 200 meetings and other events attended by over 25 thousand guests were organised. The Ministry of Social Security and Labour hosted 12 events during the Lithuanian Presidency.
