“In 2022, we will endeavour at increasing the number of employees because some of protractedly unemployed persons need attention and help to be able to work and earn money again. The situation with persons with disabilities is similar.

Only accredited social care will be provided from the beginning of 2022. Besides, preventive social assistance will be reinforced, social rehabilitation for persons with disabilities in the community will be continued, and assistants of social workers or visiting caregivers will start working with the families of social risk raising babies and children.

The Seimas – Parliament of the Republic of Lithuania has approved the draft budgets of the state, municipalities and the State Social Insurance Fund Board (Sodra) which will determine how we will live in 2022.
